Finally an avalanche backpack without compromise. A slimmed down version of Raide's acclaimed LF40, this pack incorporates a few new innovative solutions for rescue tools, allowing the backpack and SBX to stay on the wearer for the maximum time during search and rescue.

SBX Integration

SBX is fully integrated into the backpack's body and harness when installed but with a removable housing design. This allows you to use the pack as a lightweight ski touring bag for low-angle or low-danger days.

The air intake for SBX is an elongated mesh panel along the zipper for the back panel.

The removable foampod is stored in a mesh drop-pocket on the left sidewall of the backpack body, securing access to the air intake window.

When in the field, the SBX unit can be quickly accessed via the pass-through zipper, allowing the user to conduct battery tests and deactivate after deployment.

Outlet hoses are routed internally through the shoulder straps, with two mesh windows where fresh air can escape into the snowpack in case of burial in an avalanche.
